Revit 2023 keeps randomly jumping dozens actions backwards then I can't undo or redo, and I'm losing hours of work! ![]()
I'm not even sure when it does it, it seems completely random. The only things I've noticed is yesterday it was when I saved it, when it finished saving suddenly loads of my work was lost, like it just jumped back half an hour, despite using auto save. One of the autosave files was more up to date than what it had reverted to so luckily I could retrieve some work.
just now, I think it was when was doing an undo with crtl+z - it just lept backwards as if undoing dozens of actions, then redo and undo were freezed / greyed out. But the autosaved versions weren't anymore up to date
It's happening in different projects, and I am opening and closing Revit on a regular basis.
I always open my files within Revit, never from the file explorer
There are several reports of this going back to numerous releases, i think the link below may offer some guidance as there was not definitive solution on the forum posts.
Ctrl+Z processes multiple undo actions back to last save in Revit (autodesk.com)
Is this a central model with multiple users working on it at the same time?
