Revit 2023 bug - type selector drop-down get stuck on any door

In Revit 2023, the Type Selector drop-down menu lets me select one door type, then gets stuck and no longer drops down.

To fix it, I must click on a window, click the Type Selector drop-down menu for the window, then go back to the door.

(Then, again, it lets me select one door type, and get stuck again.)

Interesting. I haven't seen the Type Selector in that configuration before.  How'd you get there?

@ldonkle I think @ToanDN advice is the solution

Also check the hotfix for revit 2023 available via the Autodesk Desktop App or via download from the Autodesk subscription site. After this hotfix is applied many bugs will be cleaned

Thanks @GustavoUbriaco !

@ldonkle : You know, you may want to report this to Autodesk.  May well be a bone fide BUG.  Maybe related to this configuration. Are you using Windows 11 by chance?

Hi ldonkle-

This is a known issue that occurred due to performance enhancement work we did on the Type Selector for Revit 2023.  It has been corrected in the Revit 2023.0.1 hot fix, which can be found here:

https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2023/ENU/?guid=RevitReleaseNotes_2023updates_2023_0_1_html

You can find out more about the issue here:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Type-Sel...

Sorry about the pain this has caused... please let us know if there are other issues!

@treyk

The Update does not fix the issue for me.  Only clearing the User Interface's Use hardware graphics... box can fix it.

With User Interface's Use hardware graphics... ON.

You can add Type Selector to the Ribbon but I have found it provided no benefits because who would ever turn off the Properties palette?  It may even slow down Revit because the information needs to be display twice.
