We have just upgraded a bunch of projects to 2022 and found consistent issue on split keynote legends. Those multi column legends on the sheets became duplicated legends. It got worse when we tried to delete redundancy and split it again, Revit froze about one minute on every single move of highlighting, deleting, and placing new from project browser. I guess Autodesk may not have tested multi-column keynote legends on the sheets when they introduce new feature on split schedule. Has anyone had that issues on 2022 upgrade? Thanks,
Hmmm! Multi Column Key Legends... I am not sure I have ever seen a single column key legend
Anyhow; what I can only confirm is that we have upgraded 4 of our models to 2022 and nothing of what you have described happened (regardless whether the Key Legends where split on the sheet or not). The issue must be on your end.

Have you tried to manipulate those legends on sheet view, liking deleting and reinserting? Just curious if it works as smooth as 2020 on your updated files?
Same issue happened with some of our models when upgrading to 2022, and as far as I could tell, the only solution was to delete all the schedules from every sheet and then drag the schedule back in and update all the visibility settings and breaks. Very time consuming process to just get back to where we were before upgrades. Any fixes from Autodesk?
Only information I have was the response from Autodesk after our vendor posted the issue:
Unfortunately I don't have another workaround, but the development team is currently working on a fix that will be included soon in a hotfix for 2022 and next version of Revit. When the support case is closed, the case will remain linked to the open development case internally.
While I will make every effort to ensure that you are notified when the fix or update becomes available, you can follow the development progress by checking the following incident article: Split Keynote Schedule disappears and duplicates when upgrading a Revit model
Let me know if there are any other questions before we close the case from the support side, thank you!

kind of similar but not exactly.
The issue was the original split schedule in R2020 became two separate schedules after file upgrade. Manipulating those schedules (highlighting, deleting, and replacing new) became very lagging.. This only happened after files were upgraded to R2022.
