When I try to place a detail line on one of the sheets in my project Revit suddenly freezes and crashes. The first time this happened earlier today I got the 'fatal error' message, but that stopped happening. All other functions seem to work properly for now (except changing the appearance for some materials but I read about that in another thread).
Does anyone know what could cause this to happen?
I'm using an HP Z1 Entry Tower G6 with 64GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX2060 SUPER on Windows 10 Pro.

So, are you saying it only happened that one time? If so, there's not much to go on here -- unless you can reproduce the error.
...if is happens again, post the Journal File for the session.
@barthbradley It happened around 5-6 times today, I now see that I should have explained better. The fatal error message stopped showing, it just crashed without any more warning messages.
I have attached one of the journal files.
Hi all, thanks for the replies. We're currently suffering from unrelated other IT problems, so as soon as I can I'll try what you said and keep you posted!
If you were drawing the line with the pick line option, and my memory serves me right, 2022 had an issue with the pick line tool (on everything, walls, lines, ect) which was fixed in an updated, I think 2022.1.2.
Many times, this happens due to line-types exported from Cad Drawing causes to crash even Revit files.
try deleting access Line-types from Manage Tab < Additional Settings < Line styles < (delete all the unnecessary Line-type).
try creating new line type and use that.
Hope this helps!!
