My initiate button is grayed out and there are no BIM 360 Projects available to initiate to. Revit project is the Autodesk rac advanced project upgraded from 2020 to 2021. I am signed in with Autodesk ID. The BIM 360 Project is created and has no related workshared or cloud models associated to it yet. Just folders and Teams created. I am the admin on the project and account admin to the hub. what gives?
Thanks,
Follow up....
I started a new project in Revit 2021 and not luck there either.
In the new Revit Home screen I can actually navigate to the BIM 360 project I am trying to initiate the Revit models, see the folder tree. I can change accounts, as I am account admin to multiple hubs.
Just can't see the hubs when I go to collaborate with BIM 360 Document Management and initiate the Revit model there.
Any help ASAP would be appreciated. Trying to demo this to upper management....
Thanks,
Have you enabled Document Management or Design Collaboration? ...and added yourself to the team?

Steve,
Thanks for replying so quickly. Is the issue possibly due to the updates happening this weekend? All the knowledge base info states that 2021 should be able to initiate to BIM 360. I just find it odd that I can navigate to the BIM 360 project in the new home screen but cannot see it when initiating collaboration.
Thanks,
I don't have 2021 installed yet so I can't test myself right now. I keep getting distracted from doing it. I'm assuming it's on the admin side for now. In the past we had to respond to our invitation to a project and I remember a recent update that eliminated that...but did you get an invitation to "your project" after setting it up in the admin panel?

I did. I have never had to go that route though. Just to make sure I clicked on the link in the email. Tried to initiate again. I did close down everything and reopened. Still nothing.
I also cannot save as a Cloud Model. I get the error: To save the model to the cloud, you need access to BIM 360 Document Management. contact your BIM 360 administrator for access.
That is me...
I have full control in the BIM 360 environment. Something is just not giving the pass through...
Is anyone else seeing this issue?
Did you see THIS THREAD? In April there were some threads on this...when 2021 was brand newererer.

I did see that and was wondering if there might be a correlational. Since I was not upgrading a Revit file already associated to a BIM 360 project I did not think it would hamper the initiate process for new Revit files created in 2021...
Also this is a test and demo project of new features and how the new BIM 360 interface and relationships with BIM 360 have been updated. This is not a billable project. We do not upgrade or start project work till the the .1 or hotfixes are issued.
I will keep my eye's peeled for news on this issue....
Thanks,
FWIW, I was able to create a new BIM360 project and create a collaboration project file there. I went through the usual steps and the project was available to browse as well as choose to create a project after using Collaborate button. Are there any other version files stored in the project already?

Thanks Steve for going through the steps. I guess I need to create a support ticket then. I will try a couple more times...
Thanks,
Hey Scott! Yep, as the only Admin on the project the new Activation setup automatically set me as the Admin for DC when I activated DM. I am trying on another computer....
Thanks,
I haven't installed 2021 yet so I'm simply problem solving in the dark here but, from one of the error messages that you mentioned, and given the new licensing and product offerings that Autodesk is throwing at us, I wonder if this is going to turn out to be an issue on the license entitlement allocations at the subscription level???

Solved the problem with Autodesk's help. It was an Add-in that was causing the issue. Simple removed the add-in and was able to see BIM 360 hubs and projects during initiate.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Out of curiosity:
Was it an Autodesk add-in or a non Autodesk add-in?
