Revit 2021 issues

I have a project which needs to stay in R2021 to ensure compatibility with the rest of the design team.

I currently have two issues with R2021 I can't work out how to resolve:

1) The properties tab is not visible. I've tried everything suggested here except re-installing Revit 2021 which seems to be the 'nuclear option'.

2) Revit won't let me link dwgs. I get this error message

I close this message (twice) and then get this error -

Can anyone help me with these issues?

Many thanks

Regarding the properties palette, check your graphic card/Driver compatibility in the Options dialog. What does Revit "think" of the graphics card/driver? Are you using a Display Scale greater than 100% in the operating system?

When you attempt to link a DWG are you using the option to specify the Units instead of using the Auto option. Does this happen with any DWG file or just specific one(s)?

From what I understand of the licensing, you have another Year and a half . I believe you'll loose 2021 when 2026 comes out? maybe its 2027...

Well @SteveKStafford took most of my questions 😂

Only other thing I'd ask is are you trying to link directly from dropbox? or are you copying the DWG's to your project first?
