I would also like to know this.

For some unfathomable reasons landscape architects have begun drawing in Revit, but they don't share their terrain data in any useful formats for Civil.

Meshes exported from Revit in DWG format are not reproducable safely in Civil and even worse since the introduction to Toposolids from Toposurfaces in Revit 2024 since it doesn't cut out subregions from the man topology and only places them above it ad distances larger than 1 unit (mm for instance).

Tips about better ways to export topodata from Revit in general would also be helpful

Kindly

Hi Jim,

Two years later ... here is a solution, called Environment for Revit, an add-on that offers many solutions, among others export LandXML and it supports importing Civil3D data as well. I have used it and it works well.

Another tool is ReOpe Toolbox for Revit - scroll down a bit to the LandXML-part

https://reope.com/toolbox

I haven't tried it out yet.

If anyone has something new to add, please do so.
