Just wondering what the best way to approach lighting is with VRAY. I have downloaded lightf ittings with IES files integrated. These work fine in Revit alone, ( apart from render quality). What is the best practice, in terms of getting these lights to work from an external scene? When you adjust the lux levels for example on a known manufacturer fitting, its seems to make no sense, knowing what the real life lux levels should be in the scene.
How can I get VRAY to render with internal lights. Its day 1 of a trial with VRAY, and the quality is fantastic, but lights either don't seem to work, are are very dim. IT would be good if there was a bit more information to read on Autodesks website,as its seems all the available information, is quite generic and not very detailed. See attached image. Seems some internal lighting is on, but in reality there are ceiling troffers, and all work fine in Revit alone.
