Hello!
I am working on Revit 2021.1.4, and I have problems with slanted curtain walls that would not allow corner mullions at intersections because "The portion of the curtain grid it was placed on, no longer exist".
I have attached the above test file if anyone is willing to have a look at it. Has anyone had the same experience?
I am looking for a better explanation of the error and any possible workaround!

If you set it in the type (at the border mullions) it will work; however, it will disconnect from the adjacent wall and you will end up with double border mullion...can delete one but the overall alignment of the end result is meh!!! Slanted works better with Quad corner...otherwise, I would

Thank you for the answer! Indeed, I had already tried using the corner mullion in the type property (both L and Quad), just forgot to include the option. here it is.
as you said, it kind of works, but I thought it did not because of the misalignment between the corner mullion and the right panel. Also, if the curtain walls with corner mullions set within the type properties are drawn with "vertical cross-section", and then changed to slanted, the same errors appear.
What kind of custom corner mullion have you in mind? Can you suggest any references?
For what concerns the second solution, that might overcomplicate the modelling process, here is why (a bit of context).
I am exploring this solution (slanted curtain walls) proposing an alternative to the creation of an "angled and slanted window" family. Basically, I have slanted walls that join at "non 90 deg". And there we want windows (of course
). If you are aware of any windows family that could fit this requirements, I would love to have some suggestions. I need to create it myself, but having a good starting point might help a lot!

Use the OOTB Quad corner or does it need to be an L? Did you consider using Structural steel element instead of the corner mullion?...ie: the CW with no border mullion...How many of these do you have?! maybe modeling a family might be a better option.
As stated in previous reply, using a slanted CW system family would not be my first choice. Mass >> Divide >> Pattern Based Family
There are other users on the forum who more fond of the system CW family
you can also wait and see what they have got

Ok, thank you for the tips, I'll give a try to the mass option! in the mean time let's see if other users can suggest alternative approaches... ![]()
