Hello, as the title implies, I am getting an error when trying to launch. I have tried many of the posted solutions and this one seems to have me stumped.
Revit 2020 Student was working fine about a week ago. but after updating to 2020.1 yesterday I came across this issue. I updated straight from the Autodesk App. I am also using a 3rd party firewall. This has not for the most part been an issue for me. For Windows Security I have access to everything except anti virus control I think because of windows update? I also only use Revit Architecture. I have no other Autodesk applications installed.
I have tried:
Things to note:
I’ve run out of Ideas. Maybe a system file check? Short of a clean install of Windows I really don’t know how to proceed with this. Maybe I missed something on the clean install of revit? Perhaps there is a secondary process that I might have blocked which is required? Or maybe student versions require a different installation method / or additional services? Autodesk's whole licensing system seems to be nothing but stress for it's users lol.
I have turned off Malwarebytes and reset the firewall. The firewall is kind of finicky as sometimes It will still block ports even though you have greenlit the application. You also sometimes have to find individual applications/dlls that run simultaneously with the program and green-light those.
However, like i wrote earlier, this was all working fine last week. It wasn’t until I ran the update that the blank splash screen appeared, and running the program offline gave me the same result. The license system appears to connect fine, but something is causing a disconnect and I can’t figure out what it is.
Any advice/support would be appreciated I think I will try one last clean install with the new key and see if that resolves anything.
Thank you for your time.
Cordial saludo.
me sucedió lo mismo, pero lo resolví adjuntando esta Liberia a la carpeta del programa de Revit 2020:
vcomp140.dll
en:
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit 2020
http://www.descargar-dll-gratis.com/dll-vcomp140.dll.html
y el problema se soluciono.
Ojala te sirva.
you can refer to this article and see if helps. thanks
