Revit 2020 in viewer mode by default

Our central model has recently been upgraded to 2020, and when I try to open a new local file, I am able to select 'Create New Local' when opening and overwrite existing, but then I'm unable to edit, save or sync to central. The message that shows up just before opening is: 'Worksharing is enabled. No additional elements can be made editable. To freely edit this file in Viewer mode, re-open with the Detach from Central option checked.' I would like to know how to open a local without being in viewer mode, so that I can work in the model as normal. I already tried looking at the properties of 2020 - and the target extension does not show 'viewer' in it. Why is it opening in viewer mode by default?

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
