Revit 2019

I knew I was expecting too much when I tried downloading and installing the new 2019 software! Firstly I kept getting a 'Decompressing' problem when the software was about half way through downloading my Building design Premium but after two attempts I managed to at least get Revit 2019 working only to find that when I opened it and tried to update my Title Sheet families I keep getting this dialog!

Anyone got any ideas or should I wait another 6 months before trying again!!!

Hi @IMCornish I would have a look at windows event logs at when the errors occurred and see if that gives us any further information. Secondly I would double check that your computer still meets the system requirements for Revit 2019, particularly the version of .Net Framework. Also if you had issues downloading and installing it might be worth running a repair of Revit to be on the safe side. Just to be safe also update your graphics drivers while your at it. Let us know what you find out.

My system is fine and currently Autodesk is working on this problem thanks

Please see the AKN article on Revit Error: A serious error has occurred when opening a file

Perform an Audit after you open the Revit file and let me know if this helps!
