Hi all, I'm attempting to export a 3D DWG from the default 3D view, but I keep getting the below error:
The view boundaries for the identified views are too large to export.
Use a crop region to reduce the boundaries of the view.
Revit actually creates the DWG but does not do so by grouping the ACIS solids. I've double and triple checked that the ACIS Solids checkbox is ticked. This is very frustrating as my workflow takes me back and forth between Sketchup and Revit. I've tried creating perspective views and exporting from there, but the issue persists.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
In the default 3d view ({3d}), did you turn on the Crop Region and reshape it to be just large enough to surround what you want to export? In other words, make sure the Crop Region isn't something ridiculously large.
Basically, Revit thinks the amount of data that is needed to be exported is to great and has hiccups performing the request. Try to reduce this amount of data/scope prior to exporting
