Hi,
I just upgraded to Revit 2019.0.2 from 2018 and started Revit. The old grey screen is steel here.
How to start with new Home interface?
I appreciate anyone's help.

Hello, I don't get you?? Can you please post some screenshot here or are you not looking anything like this once you open your Revit 2019 please see attached. Thanks
ennujozlagam, thank you for replaying.
No, my screen shows old grey interface from Revit 2018.
I switched off 'show recent files on startup' in the option dialogue and switched it on again to test it. No change.
Attached is screen shot of the interface.
Regards
Joanna

That's exactly what I said. Mabuhay...
I am having the same issue. I have reinstalled several times and it won't come back. I know people keep saying install 2019.1 well it still doesn't work and I have even installed 2019.2. Ctrl+d does not work. as a matter of fact when I go to shortcut to look for the shortcut it is grayed out. see below. Need a fix to this as I will be encouraging user to use the home page when necessary.
It was working fine on the first install until I closed it and now it won't come back. I even tried another install on a different computer and it's not there either. Was this option accidentally removed from the 2019.2 update?

if you may, change or create a new post for this to track down your issues.

I installed Revit 2019.1 on the other machine and the new front end screen works.
I still have to apply .2 hotfix; I'll let everybody know if it will work after the hotfix.
Question to Autodesk: Why this issue weren't tested properly? We all spending quite a lot of time to find the solution to the problem which shouldn't exist in the first place.
I am not sure if this is a fix. But I have been successful installing Revit 2019 with the 2019.1 update. From what I can tell it seems that the hot fixes 2019.01 and 2019.02 will not allow 2019.1 to be installed. So I have opted not to install the previous patches and only install 2019.1 which according to the documentation includes the previous updates.
So I followed the information on the page. See image also.
Revit 2019 Build Numbers
Now the other issue I had was a computer that had the old install. I found that if I ran the 2019.1 install I got a prompt to remove the 2019.1 installation. Weird but I accepted the uninstall and and ran the 2019.1 install again and it worked.
It was a pain I had to go through all these hoops but I was able to get it to work. So far so good.
Please let me know if this helps anyone.
Hi mitchelj,
Thanks for your mail, it's exactly what happened here.
I installed 2019.1 only on the other machine and it works!
Unfortunately, my previous install on 2 machines don't work and I really don't want to spend more time to re-install Revit and all other add-ins.
We just have to leave with the old front-end :(.
Dissapointing..
Just to make clearer. Uninstalling 2019.1 just uninstalls the update not the entire Revit software. Once this is done you can reinstall 2019.1 update. Takes just a few minutes.
Try Ctrl + D a few times, to toggle the Home page, or, as happened to me, (when the home page stopped appearing despite working previously for 2 years or so), try tapping the arrowhead in the top bar, (just before the section containing communication centre etc)...mine was pointing to the right but didn't display the area to enter a keyword etc and once I tapped that the Home page came back and the arrow displayed as shown below
