REVIT 2019 FREEZES WHEN LOADING FAMILY

Hi,

My Revit 2019.2 freezes when families are loaded into a model. This does not happen every time a family is loaded but once or twice a day.

I have purged and audited the model but the issue persists. I do see processor activity with Revit as it is frozen though.

I also recently updated my Windows from W 7 to W 10.

Anyone else experiencing issues?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
Unfortunately, problem persists. 1 hr into a working session, loading a
brand new family created from scratch and revit file froze. Had to
restart Revit.

Do you have sufficient free hard drive space and RAM?  Also, does your server?

Our IT guy looked into this.  A corrupted file in system 32 folder needed to be replaced with the newest one. According to him Win 10 has this type of issues.

Thank you All

Can you share what particular file this might have been? It would be helpful for others to troubleshoot this issue.

Yes, please tell us what faulty file in the System32 folder needs to be replaced, and how to find the correct/updated file.  I do not have this issue on my machine, but several of my students are having this problem, and I would like to tell them how to fix it.  Thank you.

Please post the file name if you still have it. I have a user with the same issue.
