When opening the .rfa file or when loading it into project ,
revit will crash (sometimes will leave a message :"an unexpected ...")
the weird thing is , that it happening only in 1 pc .. On the other pc, i can open the file without any problem or either working with the project with that family inserted / edit the family , everything is working fine.
note that i tried almost any suggested solution with no success.
the rfa file and the journal is attached here.
will appreciate any help
Works for me too....but why is the width an instance parameter? That would drive me crazy if it got adjusted to the wrong width for plotting.
If it's only one PC, it's obvious the problem is with the PC. Reinstall, rebuild, or replace it.
First off, the journal shows you have 2019.2 installed. Please try installing the 2019.2.1 update. Second, and more important, the journal is calling out a schedule and drafting view at the time of the crash. You may have a corrupt schedule within the model located at E:\Google Drive\Dropbox\עבודה\RVTproject\959\Project.rvt. Take a look at those elements. Possibly delete them within the model then try editing the family. This may explain why nobody else is experiencing crashing when editing that particular family because they're opening it directly, and not from within the model (which we don't have access to).
