Hi, I'm new to Revit 2018 and once I installed the program, I do not see squares with the triangles pointing at each other in the middle of the screen. I have seen tutorials on Youtube that have them as they start off but for one reason, I do not have them. Can someone help me solve my problem? I would appreciate it if anyone can help me

What Template file is Revit set to use when you start a new project?
The squares are the Elevation Markers. Don't be too concerned if they are not there- it's not a "bug" or anything to worry about.
Go ahead and stick in a simple rectangular building- 4 walls and nothing else- then create some Elevations yourself- you'll then see what you're missing (if that makes sense?!

As I am in the "main menu" I look under projects and the only two options I have is open or new and then I click "new" but I do not see the option for construction template, architectural template, structural template, mechanical template below the new button... will I find it after I click on new? I uninstall Revit to reinstall it again because I have thought that maybe I installed it incorrectly
You'll get to choose a Template "directly" after choosing "New"- Choose Architectural or Construction- depending upon which one is available in your setup.
