I have a user who wants to be able to scroll different screen elements by simply mousing over them rather than clicking within the element and then scrolling.
This functionality seems to work in Windows 10 but not in Windows 7.
Here's an example of what he wants to do:
Have the model up with a docked Project browser box to the side. Hover the mouse in the model, scroll the mouse wheel and the model zooms in and out. He then wants to be able to hover the project browser, without clicking, and scroll that box.
This works in Win10 but not Win 7.
Any help would be great. Thank you.

Maybe mouse drivers are not installed and scroll wheel not set to Middle Mouse Button?
Lots of computers use the default windows drivers and not the manufacturer drivers (most of the time logitech)
Autodesk support confirms that for native functionality to work with Revit, an upgrade to Windows 10 is required. Thanks for all the comments on this forum!
