Still Running Windows 7 64 Bit. I was excited to load up 2018 because I assumed they would solve the PDF printing issues. Adobe Acrobat Print drivers still do not print reliably. Larger sheets that require any amount of memory will not produce output. Revit will send the print to the operating system but no file will be created. Hard to believe when printing is such an important part of Architectural Software that revit does not interface properly with Adobe Acrobat printers. This is a problem I first experienced with 2015. It would be nice if Autodesk would supply their own PDF driver so I didn't have to purchase Acrobat and then be annoyed because the software I purchased pretty well just for the purpose of printing will not produce documents reliably.
Hello @Anonymous
I had this issue before and I get this Tips ...
(You can use our addin Archigrafix Docuflow that is freely distributed in the Revit App Store from Autodesk. It prints to PDF all page sizes and orientations that you may have in your project.)
OR you can download( Nito PDF ) it's perfect pdf and I use it ,you can download it here (www.nitropdf.com)
I use PDF Xchange Pro and I (almost) don't have problems with printing to pdf.
Yes, this problem was reported extensively in v2017, and is still a problem in v2018.
Using the "Adobe PDF" printer fails more often that succeeds.
The workaround in our office is to select "Microsoft Print to PDF" instead of Adobe PDF.
A fix for Adobe PDF would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Aaron
