Revit 2018 - Can't Edit Worksets

Can't edit worksets because Owned by another user - it then list my computer as the other owner - nothing has changed on the computer since the drawing was made on this computer.

Make a note of the 'other' username

Click on the R>>Options

Switch your username to the 'other'

Open the project and relinquish.

Click on R>>Options again and change the username back to your regular username.

You should be out of that cycle now.

Hi @jsf

The best solution is to have the user synchronize their local model (relinquishing borrowed elements)

Note: When this error occurs on opening a model, avoid using the Place Request button as there may be more elements affected than identified in the error dialog, and if the first person to encounter the error borrows part of the elements that need to be changed you can get into a loop where no one can open the model (because multiple people have to relinquish elements before the model can be opened).

If the user is not available, there are a couple approaches to moving past this error, see HERE

Thanks for your suggestion @Sahay_R !
