Revit 2018.1.1.18 Keystrokes not responding unless cursor is over edit text box

Has anyone experience the issue when keystrokes do not respond when typing within the edit text box? The only way to get Revit to respond is to move the cursor over the edit text box, and this seems to fix the issue. I just recently started to experience this problem; it has never happen before. I have not updated Windows 7 or updated Revit, so not too sure why all of sudden this issue started to occur.
