Hello, I am looking to lease Revit 2017  and it I can save $$$ by using my existing PC if I can

here my current PC HP Pavilion P6670T

512MB NVIDA GeFORCE  DVI,HDMI, VGA adpt.

15-in-1 memory card reader

4 GB  DDR3-1333 MHz sd ram [ DIMMs]

750 GB  7200 RPM SATA 3GB/s hard drive

INTEL CORE T1.1 i3-550 dual-core PROC.

WINDOWS  7 PREM.

will this work ? or open to suggestions.

It's 5 years old and I have Revit 13 installed at the current time and looking and/or

need to get up to date with a new 2017. unless I can get Revit 2016 at a reduced cost.

Let me know.

4 gigs of memory is the minimum

  4 GB RAM
  • Usually sufficient for a typical editing session for a single model up to approximately 100 MB on disk. This estimate is based on internal testing and customer reports. Individual models will vary in their use of computer resources and performance characteristics.
  • Models created in previous versions of Revit software products may require more available memory for the one-time upgrade process.

you may want to look at least 8 gigs but i recommend at least 16

graphics card my not be enough look at a card with at least 2 gigs of memory vram

if your doing a lot rendering with revit you my want to look at an i7 processor with the fastest clock speed you can afford
