Hey Everyone,
Been having a bit of an issue the last few weeks or so with syncing to a central model and not quite sure how it started. Whenever one of us on the team Synchronizes and Modify's Settings in an attempt to close out of the model for the day, the sync goes through successfully (and I checked both the local and the central file, both of which are updated at that exact time) but yet still prompts us to sync again when trying to close the file out completely (clicking the close file X). The message box reads as if we hadn't sync'ed at all:
You have made changes to model XXXX_local file that have not been synchronized with the central model. What do you want to do? (Synchronize with Central or Close are the options).
Has anyone had this issue before?

Hello,
We have had a few customers complain of the same issue. Not exactly sure what the root cause is. I would try a few things:
1. Have everyone relinquish, STC, etc. and get out of their local models.
2. Open Central directly as a detach, with Audit selected. Once done, relinquish, STC, get out of Central.
3. Have everyone create NEW local files and see if this issue comes back.
Things to keep in mind:
1. Is everyone creating new local files each day?
2. Is anyone actually working in the Central file while others are in their locals?
3. Have you had any network issues? Slowdowns?
4. Is everyone on the latest build of Revit? This can be a big deal?
5. Any network changes from IT? Is your IT using DFS (Distributed File system)? If so, this should not be done.
Start there and see if anything improves.
