Hi,
From one day to another Revit stoped working. The journal (attached) gives this error:
' 1:< DBG_WARN: failed to create message_queue named 'Session12080_P0MasterQueue' because boost::interprocess::intermodule_singleton initialization failed: line 203 of NOBLE\ManageWorkerServices.cpp.
' 1:< Exception occurred

' 1:< System (MB) [Available / Total ] [Revit Memory Usage (MB) ]

' 1:< VM Statistics: 134216434 / 134217727 172=InUse 172=Peak
I have tried the possible solutions of this post with no positive result:

Also this solution with no success :
Thanks for all help. I'm really dont know what to do.
Have a nice day.
Hello @juancalvoferrandiz,
Does the key appear in Regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->Microsoft->Windows->CurrentVersion->Explorer->Shell Folders->Common AppData

I have the same issue (just started today). I have the key showing up in the register so it wasn't that. I uninstalled and reinstalled Revit and it still has this error message.
1:< DBG_WARN: failed to create message_queue named 'Session20208_P0MasterQueue' because boost::interprocess::intermodule_singleton initialization failed: line 203 of NOBLE\ManageWorkerServices.cpp.
' 1:< Exception occurred

I have a customer with pretty much the same looking issue.
Any other things to try?
I have a user in 2018 (Windows 7) with this same error. It's happened multiple times. Revit starts up and then errors with "Revit has stopped working". I have tried various things to fix it - clear the temp file (didn't work), repair the program (didn't work), clean uninstalled and reinstalled it twice (worked for a little while), but this error still reoccurs after about a week. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling just the C++ files. Again it fixes it for a week but then it errors again. I am looking at reg keys this time.
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles... I have found a similar warning in my journal files:
DBG_WARN: failed to create message_queue named 'Session50384_P0MasterQueue' because boost::interprocess::intermodule_singleton initialization failed: line 196 of NOBLE\ManageWorkerServices.cpp.
Problem is I'm not sure how to fix it. I am showing the C:\ProgramData reg key. Is there another reg key that should be showing up?
I am just tired of uninstalling and reinstalling the program weekly.
We have a user (Windows 10, Revit 2017) experiencing the same issue. No problems prior to today. Did anyone get around this?
Hello @bim,
If this happened all of a sudden something must have changed recently, can you recall a change in your environment?
- Try to re-create the event/pull up the error again & try using Event Viewer to locate the event error then search for it online this will help you determine the root cause. Also, Windows 10 Task Manager can help locate running processes that could be interfering. These utilities will help you do some investigating on your OS.
Keep us posted.
