REVIT 2017 RENDERING ENGINE

... It's a shame REVIT 2017 is not going to use Mental Ray anymore... 😞

... the Raytrace engine is ok but never as complex and detailled ...

... I've been trying a couple of renderings but the quality at close range is really bad ... what a shame.

now I have to start exploring options like:

V-ray for REVIT - nice finishes, a little more work ... but apparently ok ...

Iray Nvidia for REVIT - I hope will be same or better than Mental Ray ..

... anyone knows how to get results as good as Mental Ray with Raytrace ??

Since this thread is still happening after 2 1/2 years....we have been using Revit for our generic renders without issues....our really nice renders are done in Enscape....then our Super nice renders are sent out to a third party that I am sure are not using any of the above.
