Revit 2017 pdf lineweight difference

Hi,

Sorry if this isnt in the right place

Lately ive been noticing an issue when i print to pdf sheets for review, submitting or anything else. Sometimes the PDF's will all print with the same line weights sometimes one page will be drastically lighter than the other even though they all have the same settings and are being printed from the same file (see image of a Front and rear elevation from the same building), occasionally it gets fixed when you print and choose the option to save as separate files and vise versa. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

vector and raster.JPG

Probably PDF are created using different settings..

1. Vector will give a different output. vector based, darker colour..

2. Raster will give a different output... lighter colours..

compare two pdfs with vector and raster settings...you will know the difference..

if there are any imported jpgs, then sometimes Revit uses Raster setting by default even

when Vector is selected... thats where those pdf shows lighter colours...because

revit cannot produce those images in vector format...

also before printing make sure all the views are reset, like no temporary hidden etc..

no wireframe views, Shaded, ..etc. basically these settings, coarse, or fine, hidden, shaded, shadow , etc..

you will get consistent result only when all the views have same settings..

Cheers!
