REVIT 2017 INSTALLATION PROBLEM

I have been trying to install Revit 2017 all night, everything installed except the material library. Whenever I try to install it, it gets to 4 of 5 and never moves any further. It just saying connecting for hours and hours. I plugged my laptop in directly to my modem so that it wouldn't have any wifi signal issues. And there is plenty small on my laptop I have 12GB, it's brand new I do not have anything else other than Windows 10. Please help. I have a photo of the screen it never moves from.

just an advice, if you are downloading the installer, better to save it first to your drive. when download finished, then install it. dont forget to run the installer as admin

@Anonymous hello, try to switch off all your anti virus program and firewall before downloading and installation, if  this one helps. thanks

This is what happens every time. I also tried running it as admin. I have a very fast internet. But the downloading stops after certain point and on the top right hand side it shows connecting and not downloading. Kindly assist. Have been trying to install since 4 days now.

Try another download option...sometimes Webinstall doesn't work for everyone but what always works is downloading the installation package from Autodesk Virtual Agent ... You can find a link to VA in my signature below.

you might still need to switch off any antivirus and firewall which you have installed on your PC

I will not switch off my antivirus or firewall. Why do I have to do that? My notebook will be vulnerable.

If you believe you are targeted and your PC security will be compromised during this 1 hour or less which required to download from AUTODESK Virtual Agent then don't : o) ...

As for whether u r not sure if you should trust AUTODESK to download their product without scanning it beforehand, I am not sure what to say : ) keep on trying maybe it works for you without disabling anything. I personally never disable neither firewall nor AV and never had download and install issues...some/others do so give it shot

i have downloaded revit 2017 rar files...when i want to extract it needs password for encrypted file which i dont have.....so please help me that what password i should use....?
