Hi! I am running Revit 2017 on my ASUS Zenbook pro with Windows 10 but the bottom ribbon (with graphic display, temp hide, hide, etc.) is extremely small, and when I try to load families or look at my filter, all the items run into each other so I do not know what I am selecting - see attached for screenshots.
In Autocad 2017, the text is too big and takes up half of my screen, so hard to work in it. Those are the only two Autodesk program I am running, and all my other programs are displaying correctly. Are there any fixes available?

Choose "smaller" on the following path: Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display

Hi there,
We have solved a quite similar issue recently,
I suggest you have a look at the advanced options of Microsoft Windows display settings.
What's happening is that the software is made to run on a much bigger screen and these buttons are made to be already quite small...
So, type "display" in the windows main research / cortana bar, click on Display settings,
Then go to advanced settings > advanced text and others > change the scale of the right setting.
It might take a few gos to get the display perfectly right, but it should not only do the trick but solve the problem with every other softaware at the same time!

Hi François,
By "change the scale of the right settings" do you mean:
a. Change the size of text, apps, and other items
b. use the Magnifier (Did not do the trick)
c. Set a custom scaling level (I tried that one, mine is set at 250% but it did not work, unless you have a specific number in mind).
d. Change only the text size of a specific item (which one, the icons?) I tried that too but didn't get anywhere.
The above settings tend to scale everything but the icons and the text under "Filter" in Revit and the icons in the bottom ribbon (hide, temp/hde, V/G, etc, or the AutoCAD stuff).
Please let me know if you know of anything that definitely worked, or if you could provide me with more information on the fix.
Thank you!
Hi @bdkane,
The issue is with UHD display which i too had for earlier versions of autodesk products,Try following the below link
http://www.danantonielli.com/adobe-app-scaling-on-high-dpi-displays-fix/
mine was fixed and am enjoying windows 10 and Autodesk.

Thank you so much @S.Jebakumar, that did the trick!! Even though the quality of the display in Revit decreased substantially, I can finally see my filter selection and the bottom ribbon. This is weird because I am running the latest version of Revit 2017 so I was not expecting it to have any issues with the higher res displays.
Thanks a ton for the fix!
Thank you. We just moved into a new building and nothing seems to work. IT is overloaded and didn't yet have time to troubleshoot this problem. Your fix works well on my machine. I'm going to set up a couple of others and see if the fix works for them after I log out.
Great job. Thanks for sharing.
That worked like a magic for my Revit 2017. Great. Thanks a lot for the post.
Hi!
Thanks for the solution. Works perfectly.
I did, however, find that my text in Revit now also scales, and then looks completely different when actually printed out. Does anybody else experience this problem? The one picture shows what text looks like before pdf, and the next what it actually prints.
Is there a way I can get the Revit Icons to display larger but not my text in the model? If not, can anybody help me reverse the process? ( I prefer the tiny icons to text misbehaving in Revit.)
