REVIT 2017 Graphic card Quadro M2000 not recognized

Hi,

Can you please advise is Leadtek Quadro M2000 Workstation Graphics Card - 4GB working with Revit 2017 running on Win10?

Currently, I have the latest driver installed R375 U8 (377.48) and Revit is not recognizing the graphic card.

Many thanks

Marko

Hi Marko,

Thank you for taking your time to post this on the forum,

What is the specific message being displayed? The message most likely just indicates that the configuration of that card and the currently installed driver has not been tested, or are you also experiencing bad performance?

Best Regards,

Hi @Anonymous

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk community!Smiley Happy

Unless you are experiencing issues, the graphics card should be fine. The message just indicates that the configuration of that card and the currently installed driver has not been tested.

You could try updating to whatever the latest driver from the manufacturer is, for downloading latest drivers for your Quadro series see HERE

Use this tool HERE to find system hardware or graphics hardware and drivers as recommended by Autodesk.

Please see HERE for a recommended list of graphics hardware at the NVIDIA website.

Hi Jacob,

Thanks for your reply.

Revit works ok, however I would like to utilize full performance of video card that was selected with Revit in mind and I am not sure if its configured properly?

Please see attached photo showing the video card message. My understanding was that Quadro M2000 is one of the preferable video cards for Revit, hence the reason of purchase.

Hi Vivevka,

Thanks for the message.

I already have the latest driver from NVIDIA website. Also, I tried with Autodesk driver search tool and I couldnt find driver for my card.

I would take warning with two grains of salt and keep the hardware acceleration turned on. Only turn if off if you actually experience some problems, not because the warning tells you so.

Hi Toan,

Revit doesnt allow me to turn on the hardware acceleration. When I try to turn it on, it would display the message that I posted earlier and it will turn it off. Not sure what is going on...

I have seen this happen on certain Dell laptops where I disabled the onboard video card in the bios so only the dedicated card was operational.  If someone did that, you may have to reenable and modify in the display settings that the quadro is dedicated across all programs.

The other thought...are you emulating Windows 10 on a Mac?

I got to this thread (and others like it) trying to troubleshoot my own situation, where Revit wouldn't recognize the Nvidia graphics card. The solution was obvious but took a long time to identify. My monitors were plugged into the onboard card ports and not the Nvidia ports. So anyone having this issue, check that before you do anything else. Hope this helps someone avoid the hour-plus I just spent on it :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht:
