Running Revit on a student license.  It had been working fine until Windows 10 forced some updates on me yesterday.  Now, the splash screen comes up for 5 seconds or so, then disappears with no error messages.  This is the content of the Journal:

Your profile is incomplete. Please try resetting your Revit profile by perform the following:

Navigate and delete the following directories:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2017
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2017
Open the registry editor (Start > Type REGEDIT hit enter)
Delete the following registry folder:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2017

On those the deleted, launch Revit again.

@pendean,  Thanks for the reply.  I tried rolling back, but Revit still fails in the exact same manner.  Any other ideas?

Thanks!

I had to uninstall and reinstall the entire Autodesk 2017 Suite (Revit, AutoCAD, 3DMax, Navisworks).  What a pain!

I tried the uninstall/reinstall of everything autodesk but no luck.  Same behavior with revit.  I also tried running Revit in compatibility mode - that didn't work either.  I even tried running with elevated privileges - still no luck.  I also have Civil 3D installed and it works fine.  Revit's problem appears to have something to do with the license authentication.

I've tried reinstalling Autodesk Programs, but no success.....
Then, I decided to format my Windows 10 and reinstall all Softwares....

Now everything is OK....
