Revit 2017 - borrower elements / regularly sync to central.

Is anyone else having problems with other users borrowing items in a workset model when they are not working / amending a object?

In previous versions this has not been an issue, but since working on 2017 this is happening a lot, users are constantly saving to central

Yes, users are forced to save to central to relinquish their borrowed items. There didn't look like anyone is work on the same elements when this happens. Think this might be an issue with 2017, have you experienced anything like this before.

Hi @sham.summan

I haven't heard of this issue before.

Can you tell us more about the environment you are in?  Is this file-based worksharing, revit server or Collaboration for Revit?

What types of elements are not being relinquished?

Also, After all users SWC

On the Ribbon, Go to Collaborate-->Worksets  and check all options:

Show:

  • User-Created
  • Families
  • Project Standards
  • Views

Which elements show as being borrowed?
