Revit 2015 - Unknown Video Card

Hi

I have installed Revit 2015 on my Dell XPS 15 laptop purchased this year.

The video graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with all current updates.

However, Revit is not running properly, and in Options_Graphics it says the the graphics card has not been tested with Revit. I have turned off Hardware Acceleration and there is still an issue.

Is there any way around this problem?

Thankyou

I do not what you experience when you say "Revit is not running properly"?

That Revit is saying graphics card is not tested with Revit is normal. Too many graphics cards out there with fast developments.

And switching of hardware acceleration is indeed often the first step to see if graphics issues are resolved.

You already updated the graphics card drivers. Also do not forget to update other software (Windows & Revit). Check autodesk to see if there are hotfixes available for your version. Further some people experience issues with certain screen resolutions.

Maybe you can describe (Screenshots?) of what exactly you are experiencing.

Also look into the Installation & licensing forum.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

like what was said above this is normal
autodesk has a certified list of graphics cards for some of their programs here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/syscert?siteID=123112&id=18844534&results=1&stype=g...
and usually geforce cards are not ceritified for some of them
you need to explain what revit is not running properly means

You may find this thread of interest.  Same video card as yours, and although the original poster was running a Macbook Pro, there are later posters runing a system very similar to yours with the same problem. One of the suggestions was to reduce the Display Scaling to 150% or less.

Darren do you the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745 (4GB) video card would work with Revit.
