Revit 2015 Properties Box Issue:

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

Not sure if this is the correct spot for this kind of question.

Whenever I try to enlarge my Properties Dialogue Box, it will inevitably change to look like the attached screenshot.

It will do this on either of my two screens.  Has anybody encountered this before and/or have a solution.

Thanks in advance for any responses!

Undock the properties window and move it around a bit on the screen...then put it back.

Even better...if you have multiple screens place it on the other one.

Hi @Anonymous

In some cases when the Properties palette and/or Project browser are moved to a second monitor and the monitor gets disconnected, it becomes impossible to drag them back to the monitor which hosts the application.
Attempting to deactivate then reactivate the Properties palette or Project browser or from the Ribbon (View > Windows > User Interface) does not work.
Please try the following steps:

1. Make sure Revit is not running.

2. Using the Windows Registry editor, select and delete the following key:

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit {Product Name} {version}
  • Replace {Product Name} with Architecture, Structure, or MEP or leave blank for Revit OneBox.
  • Replace {version} with your release of Revit 2015

3. Relaunch Revit

Try to keep them both stretched at 100% height on a secondary monitor and stack them at 50% vertically on the second monitor and then 50% vertically on your primary monitor.
