can you go to a backup file from a previous date with IT support?...can you attach the file so I can try to look at it? I am running 2017 version

oups sorry, i cannot share the file right now (property rights).
now, we were able to open it in the latest version of Revit 2015 (built R6)
Let's see if by uninstalling the older version solve the issue.

each user working on a revit project needs to be in the same version (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, etc.)...not necessarily same build number...because with each version, there are always updates ur1, ur2, etc.

well. we update the built to have the same on every pc (Release 2 Update Release 6)
and it works now.
Revit 2015 had so much issues, but we are "stuck" with this for the project.
