Hello!
After 2004 W10 upgrade I noticed both on my laptop and desktop that Revit 2014 just freezes. Not immediately but after 5 or 10 seconds. Freezing happens when I create a monolithic stair. Same thing happens when I paste a stair from other project. Tried reinstalling Revit but no luck. Everything else seems to work though. Is something wrong with stairs family? Should reinstalling have solved that issue? Any ideas?
do you have a 3rd party plugin installed try to uninstall first and see if helps. thanks
i have Revit 2014 in windows 10 and it runs smoothly. thanks

Hi! I was using it for almost 4 years in W10! Issue arises after 2004 feature upgrade and only after creating stair or pasting items from other projects.
Thanks anyway!
Like I said originally -- I'm totally amazed! You're a lucky guy.
So, I guess that means it's all fix now and the thread is closed.
Well then, Have a good day and take care.
I really would like to see if there is anybody dealing with similar issues. It is not the best way to postpone windows upgrades just for Revit to work properly. By the way, compatibility modes failed for win 8 ,7 etc, so I doubt that there is a w10 - old program issue. Please do not close this post so soon.

I'm not the moderator. Just a user. Keep your thread going indefinitely if you want. I don't know what you mean exactly by your other statements, but Revit 2014 is no longer supported by Autodesk, and Revit 14 on Windows 10 never was supported. But you might get lucky.
Got my fingers crossed for you. Good luck.
