Revit 2014 does not respond

Hi, can anyone please help me. I recently downloaded Revit 2014 and its not responding. Its so slow and when i try to open my files i cant even zoom in or out or modfiy a wall, or any task. I also noticed the x and y coordinates at the bottom wont stop blinking. I am experienced in revit so i know what im doing but i recently purchased a new computer. Below is the specs of my laptop:

from whare u have downloaded. Because u can't revit 2014 from autodesk website as u have downloded in May2015.
u can download Revit 2016 from Autodesk wesite.
