We are working in Revit 2012 on a project for legacy reasons. The model is now 161+ megabytes and some lighting & electrical families are not printing when we print at G.A. scale (1:100@A1) If one zooms in & prints "visible portion" they then print so it seems to be a scale issue. Has anybody come across this & if so, does anyone have a nice, simple cure?

Are you printing directly to the printer? I'd suggest printing to PDF first then printing from there.
I'd make a copy of the project and upgrade it to 2018 at least and check to see if that fixes your issue. If it does fix it, then it is a very good reason to dismiss the legacy of keeping it in 2012.
Of course I have some projects stuck in 2015, but we don't have control of that, it is the architects and we are just the interiors.
We do have a couple of cropped sheets on the drawings causing the problem, but the problem occur from views too, so changing that didn't make any difference, although I did try. However, printing as a raster image solves the problem - thank you very much for your assistance.
