Hi,
Im posting to this because I cant seem to work out what has happened to my Revit software.
I had to install Revit 2017 because my current employer let my 2016 subscription expire whilst I was on holidays. I had created my own families and templates in 2016 that I wanted to carry over to 2017.
When I installed 2017 it comes up with the 'the path you have specified for the default family files is invalid' I have tried every suggestion I can find to fix this issue but nothing seems to be working and I dont know what Im doing wrong. I also cant seem to open (or find) any of my old templates to transfer them over to 2017.
When I find the Revit 2017 folder in my program data it contains 3 folders 1 is 'ContentPacks' which is completely empty. I dont know why, Ive installed them multiple times.... I also have 'Recent' and' UserDataCache'.
I am the only person using this program at my work and I am beyond frustrated. Im very aware that this is probebly a user error and not the program, but would very much appreciate some help.
