Hi,
My office wants to change the formatting of the revision table on the titleblock and I am unsure of how this can be accomplished. I will attach picture to help explain but, currently the text in the tables displays as either all red or all black. Now they want only the most recent revision to display red and the rest to display as black. How would I format the table to display that way? I am not very fluent in Dynamo so if that can be avoided that would be great but I understand if not. The pictures show how it is currently done and then how they want it to be done.
Thank you.
An alternative to having the text colored red, is to use conditional formatting to highlight the background of the revision table cells with a red color for the latest revision number.
A downside, is that the conditional formatting doesn't have a "find the last revision". In this example, I used the revision order number = 5, which takes the fifth revision in the total list of revisions. You would therefore have to update the sheet families revision schedule to update the order number to the latest value before each issue.
Before exploring other solutions, does your office standard use individual sheet revisions or project revisions?
Hope this helps,
-luc
Instead of using Sequence or Revision Number to drive the Conditional format, use an unused Field such as Issued To or Issued By. That so you just need to enter value in the Revision table in the project, and not have to edit the revision schedule in the titleblock family each time.
