Hi,
I have been creating new titleblocks for our office. All text, labels and the revision schedule are set to the Arial Narrow font and everything looks the way I want it to in the family editor. However when I load it into a project the font in the revision schedule changes to Arial. Everything else stays the same as I created it. The result is all the text in the schedule overlaps because Arial takes up more space than Arial Narrow.
What would be the reason for this happening?
Thanks,
P

Does the text name that is being used in the Revision Schedule already exist in the project? If so try renaming the text type used in the revision schedule to something that doesn't exist in the project, then save and reload.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Is there a way to set a text type for revision schedules? When I open up the schedule and click font, a dialogue box opens up but you cannot select a text type. It is just a drop down menu with font styles installed on my machine.
The font that is used in the schedule is one of the fonts in the sheet file. If you go to the sheet view, then the Create tab, Text panel, select text then in the properties drop down you can see all of the text types in the file...duplicate one and name it something unique, change the properties as needed then swap out the text used in the revision schedule.
I have created a new unique text type as you describe but cant figure out how to apply it to the schedule. Below is a screenshot of the text dialogue box that comes up.
I did a quick video that should help ![]()
