Hello,
We have a number of stations in our office, mine included, that no longer show the Revision Number column in the Sheet Issues/Revisions dialog box. This is a huge issue. How do we get the Revision Number column back?
This is how mine looks:
This is how its supposed to look (taken from autodesk website):
Yes, we've changed operating systems from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (new computers with updated video cards).
Check the screen resolution.
- Reduce the screen resolution down to 2.5K (2560x1536)
- Reduce the Windows display scaling to 150% (mine shows 100% because I don't have HiRes screens)
Monitors are the one thing not upgraded. Resolution is maxed at 1920x1080 (recommended), and display scaling at 100% (recommended).
Well duh...
Maybe the column got stretched down to zero width. Try add a new Revision and see what it does.
I like the thought, but no dice. Tried stretching the box out until the bottom scroll bar was gone and then added a new revision - no revision number column.
Was just installed last Friday on a new machine. Have service pack 2 installed, will check for new updates. Thanks
Have check updates, everything is up-to-date and the software newly installed. Issue persists.
Just following up on this thread. Please respond to the following:
1. Is this affecting all Revit files that you open on all the affected PC's?
2. It looks like you have 3 monitors on your PC, is this correct?
3. Do all affected PC's have 3 monitors?
4. If yes, what happens if you only use one monitor (assuming its a desktop, or just the actual laptop screen if its a laptop)?
5. If you create a new file from a shipped template can you recreate this issue?
6. Lastly for now....I'm assuming you are in Revit 2017, but please verify.
Thanks for posting.
1. Is this affecting all Revit files that you open on all the affected PC's? (dsb - Yes)
2. It looks like you have 3 monitors on your PC, is this correct? (dsb - No, 2)
3. Do all affected PC's have 3 monitors? (dsb - All have 2 monitors)
4. If yes, what happens if you only use one monitor (assuming its a desktop, or just the actual laptop screen if its a laptop)? (dsb - desktop, problem persists with one monitor).
5. If you create a new file from a shipped template can you recreate this issue? (dsb - Yes, same thing happens with the sample project)
6. Lastly for now....I'm assuming you are in Revit 2017, but please verify. (dsb - No, we are in 2016 - its an existing project that can't be upgraded. Please note I have 2017 on my machine and it is not an issue with 2017).
Trying to revive this thread. We had several machines all are running 2020.2 some are on 2020.2 and some are on 2020.2.7. The "Revision Number" Column is missing on several of our users machines but showing on others. Its an issue for our users that are trying to tag the revision cloud by the Revision number. We had to force some to read the description field so we could issue the drawings. Is there a fix for getting this to show all the columns in the Sheet Issues/Revisions dialog box?
Hey, don't mind me replying to a comment from 6 years ago - if those columns are stretched to 0 width and adding new revisions don't bring them back how can you make them reappear?
I just realized that in 2022 the Revision Number Column goes away if the numbering is set to "Per Sheet". When changing to "Per Project" the revision Number Column returns. I realize this isn't the case with the original example in this thread but maybe it helps someone in the future.
What do you mean the revision number column goes away? Is the entire column gone or the values become blank?
