Reversed Section lines

I looked up and found a workaround for being able to get a "bent" section line. In reality I am taking a veritcal section through my wall, but at the top I bent the section line as to not distort the roof rafters etc which are at an angle compared to the vertical section. The work around I found was to create 2 seperate sections and turn off the tail in one and the head in the other. My problem lies in the fact that one section has to go one way and the other the opposite in order to get the correct section to match up. My section looks great, but my section line on my elevation has the bent part at the top facing the other way. I just dont understand why this is this way. It may be purely "user error" in what I am trying to do, but I have looked it over a few times and it looks to me that I set it all up right and just had to flip the top of the section the wrong way to get the right look. I am attaching a screen shot that shows my section in one drawing and the elevation it came from in the other. I guess I am just trying to confirm that they are in fact reversed of each other and why that is to fix it and get a normal section line in elevation. Do not hesitate to ask for different screenshots etc. Just let me know what you need.

The way you have done the "bent section" is the way to do it, with 2 markers. You should be able to face the section marks either direction. as shown in my images.

What it seems like you might have missed is the "flip" control on the section marker. When a section marker is selected you can flip the direction it looks using the control. So you will need to flip one of your sections so it is not "reversed".

Yes I did flip the section around, but the problem I am having is that they dont seem to be accurate. If I have one flipped one way the other is opposite of what it should show. i.e. floor is on the left of the wall but the top will then have the roof on the right. etc. I am attaching 2 jpegs to explain this better. Im sure it has something to do with the way I have it cut, but what I want to acheive is my "Correct section" and I am doing it with a bent section line as to not distort my rafters in section.

There are a couple extra lines at the floor level in your elevation view.  Are you sure your floor is on the correct side of the wall?
