What is it you would ideally like to achieve? An infill condition in prior Phase? Windows/Doors can do that. Create at Window/Door Family, remove the Opening Cut replace it with a Void Cut that doesn't penetrate all the way through the Host Wall. Basically, model the Void Cut the same dimensions as your Wall Reveal. Load and place this "Reveal" Family on a Project Wall. It will cut the Project Wall in the Phase you place it in, and create an Infill in the Wall for prior Phases.
That's my wad. How's my shooting?
I have an existing condition thats EIFS without reveals. then I have EIFS that "new" with reveals.
what i have could have done is make the existing EIFS 1 wall type and the new eifs another with reveals. i took over a project over from someone else and i have to make it work.
worse case, I will have to do it the correct way.

Shouldn't you demolish existing EIFS and replace with new EIFS with reveals. How do you cut reveals to existing EISF in real life?
yes i could have. but the eifs was already modeled in and i wasnt about to redo all the reveals again.

- Change EIFS with review to be created under New Construction
- Copyclip the EIFS, go to an existing view and paste align in place (this EIFS should show created under Existing), then delete the reveals from the pasted existing EIFS
- Set the existing EIFS to be demolished under New Construction
