When I originally installed Revit I had a lot of issues because it would freeze when the material library would begin downloading. After calling Revit and having them access my computer, they were able to correctly install the program. I had no issues until I began to edit the materials in my house. Some materials show up, but most of them show a yellow triangle telling me that the image file is missing. So I have SOME of the materials, but not all. The program will allow me to render, but when I do, the images are extremely grainy and completely unacceptable even on the highest quality/longest rendering. It is not a lighting issue.
Hello @Anonymous
Did you adjust the Soft Shadow Precision?
Even If you set the quality into BEST settings the soft shadow precision set in a lowest setting, so you have to adjust that to a little bit more.
Also you should adjust some of the other options for a much better outcome.
