Rendering Has No Materials

I'm trying to render a project in a 3D camera view. But whenever I create a new 3D camera view all of the materials in the project appear as a generic material. I can't seem to get a 3D perspective view which retains the materials.

The project consists of 4 linked Revit models which have their materials properly selected in the original file.

My best guess is that my computer can't keep up so the software removed the materials. But that also seems unlikely because I'm running on a Threadripper 3960X (24 core processor), an RTX 5000, and 128 GB of RAM.

Anyone have any ideas how to make the color show in a 3D view.

Your computer is powerful than most so I guess your guess ain't right. Try change view's phase filter to Show Complete.

Set your View's Visual Style to Realistic.

BTW: If you are on 2021, please note that there is an issue with Material Swatches Display.

Not sure I understand what you mean by "materials properly selected in the original file", but there is a method to share materials...

In the link model, you may want check the link phasing mapping. Sometimes if the link have many phase, Revit will map it incorrectly. So you have to change it. As well turn your phase filter to show complete inorder to show the proper material.

Could this possibly be phasing? Need to check that the phase filter / phase setting of that view that you are trying to render that the setting are correct and that the phase filter graphic overrides are not affecting your materials setting.
