Hello
I hope someone can help me. I used some MEP families in my proyect. The problem comes when I try to render the room, there is some kind of hot area that shows up. How can I hide it??
I attach some images so you can see what I mean.
Thanks in advance

... looks like those families have some kind of light attached that is rendering in a weird way
... do you mind to upload your .rvt file to take a look ... or at least those families?

Sure!!
… it has to be with clearances (type properties – materials and finishes)
… when you draw the clearance of the families , you did it as a extrusion
…. You can not do it that way
… you need to do it with model lines or in a different way
... go to reference level - floor plan
... click on those symbolic lines
... grab those with tab
...
..... and hide those
(you can hide those clicking = hh)
..... then tab on those clearance zones until they turn blue ....and hit delete
..... repeat the process for each one of the extrusions
... same for the other family
.... and done no more weird stuff
.... after that go back to the floor plan of the family and draw model lines to show the clearance

.... that clearance has been created with solid material
.... needs to be transparent or non existant
... you can delete this material if you want or transform it
