Hello,
I attached a .dwg file here. (pf_em8.dwg)
It is a 3d model of pipes for floor heating. I created it in autocad by sweeping a circle along polylines.
I imported it in Revit.
However, when i try to render it, it starts to look strange like the mesh is deformed and losing "vertex points".
Why could this be ?
I uploaded the original polylines just in case there's a 'more correct' way to create these pipes. (fsz.dwg)

I did the render and aren't able to replicate your issue. Is your unit set to millimeters when you Link in the CAD? As well did you place it near the project origin? Also under Revit options>Graphics turn on the graphic accelerator.
Try importing your DWG into a Revit Family Template, explode it fully, load the Family into the Project and try Rendering.
BTW: This is piping underneath the tile flooring; right? Do you often Render this piping?
...one other thought: if the CAD Geometry is located far, far away from the Internal Origin of the Revit Project, this can cause issues. FWIW.
Thank you all for reply!
-autocad units are mm, project and family units are mm
-i think i placed it near the origin
-tired to load it into family, exploded, did not help
-used graphics accelerator
@barthbradley In the post you linked i found the fix
Instead of sweeping a circle profile along the polyline, i sweeped a 12 side polygon.
And it renders correctly so i am super happy!
