Hi,
I had started a project on an already used project file
with loaded families, slowly the scope of my work has been
turned into testing for python script plug-ins for Revit
(Pyrevit)
However, not knowing the consequences of doing the project
on a "Save as" file, when I prepare the "Room Schedule"
dummy room appears in the schedule, creating confusion
when testing for plug-ins now.
The room tags appearing on the schedule happen to be as
"existing" tag from my previous project and has no
meaning in my current project file.
My question is, apart from removing it from the schedule
manually, is there any other way I might not be aware of
to completely remove those unwanted room tags so they don't
automatically appear on the room schedule whenever I
prepare the schedule.
A screenshot is attached for a better understanding of
my problem, and any solution other than manual delete
would come up as a great help, since doing the model
on the template file won't be possible since I have already
done around 35 of the Revit models prior to this current problem.
Regards
Tags are View-Specific Elements. You don't remove Tags through a Schedule. You remove them in a View. However, if you delete the Room in a Schedule, it will delete the associated Tag from every View it is placed in.
