Remembering Section Box View

When I use a section box on a view, I set it up for the view I want but if I disable the section box and come back to it later, Revit does not remember the view and I have to start again.

Is there anyway of saving the view limits?

Just keep the section box and copy the view to work with further or use scope box.

You need to use scope box tool:

while in plan, click on scope box and draw a rectangle.

In any 3D view, you will see the box there, adjust its depth using the handles.

then in the parameters of the 3d view, above section box, there is scope box, choose the box that you created.

Another easy way:

from the arrow under the view box, click save view, it will create a view as per existing view.

Right click on view Cube and Save view, then click on the little house on Quick access toolbar to create a new 3D view.
