Regions - fill patterns to follow a curved line

Doing a circular point of interest in a garden created by stone blocks (circle of stone blocks instead of image attached).

Apparently in other BIM software you can get it so that the filled region can follow the curved line.

I thought repeating design components might be able to follow the line but I cannot pick a curved line.

Is there a way to manipulate a region to get the design effect or is the solution to create a design component and manually do it?

You can use a curtain wall or a railing.

Thank you for this.

I think this would have worked for me however, I only have access to Revit LT and I believe autodesk has not allowed the LT version to be able to create adaptive families.

LT can do curtain walls and railings.  What you are trying to do can be done easily with either of these tools.
